Privacy Policy

Hero Football Manager is designed to work without an account and to keep your career on your device.

Information the game collects

Hero Football Manager does not require a player account and does not use ads or advertising tracking. Your career, player names and club name remain on your device. The game does not upload your career or measure your in-game actions.

App updates and technical data

Starting with version 1.0.0, build 3, the app uses Expo Application Services (EAS Update) to download compatible fixes when an internet connection is available. Updates download in the background and take effect after the app restarts. You can still play offline.

To deliver updates and diagnose failed launches, Expo receives an app installation identifier, the app's platform and update version, network information such as the request's IP address, and technical error information when an update fails. Technical data can be associated with that installation identifier. It is used to operate, secure and diagnose the update service, not for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Expo processes this information under its privacy policy. We can use update delivery and diagnostic information to maintain the app. Builds 1 and 2 do not include this update service.

Information stored on your device

Your preferences, player and club names, and career save are stored locally on your device. They are used only to operate the game.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. Expo and its service providers process the technical update information described above. Apple may process purchase, download, and optional diagnostic information under Apple’s own privacy policy.

Support email

If you email support, your email provider and our email provider process the address, message, and attachments that you choose to send. We use that information only to answer your request and diagnose the issue you describe.

Deleting your data

You can delete the current career inside the game. Deleting the app removes its local game data from the device. The game does not hold a separate player account or cloud career copy for you to delete. Deleting the app does not itself delete technical records already held by Expo. Contact us with questions or requests about those records; Expo's privacy policy also explains its data rights and retention practices.

Children’s privacy

The game does not ask children or other players for contact details or upload the names entered during play. The update service processes the same technical information described above. If you have concerns about a child's information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

If the game’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the changed version is released.
